| Pricing model | Free tier plus paid plans | Free tier plus one paid plan |

In its favour
What AppDrift does well.
- A dozen free ASO tools that need no account at all, which is more open than most of this market.
- MCP and a REST API on every paid plan rather than reserved for a top tier, so scripting is not an upsell.
- Google Play alongside the App Store.
- Browser delivery, so it runs on Windows and Linux where ASO Studio cannot.
In its favour
What Applyra does well.
- A genuinely permanent free plan, not a trial that expires. One app and five keywords is enough to watch a single launch.
- Google Play alongside the App Store, which rules ASO Studio out entirely for an Android developer.
- An MCP server, so this is not a choice between agent access and no agent access.
- Nothing to install and nothing tied to one machine: it runs in a browser on any operating system.
Ours, for the record
There is a third option.
Both cover Google Play, which ASO Studio does not. If your app is iOS only, $59/yr a year covers unlimited apps and keywords on a native Mac app, and you can score your listing free first.
