Step 1
Start at the gear.
Every chart setting is one tap from the numbers it changes.
- Open My Apps. The App Store / Analytics switch sits right above your charts.
- Tap the gear beside it.
- With no app open you get the All Apps settings. With an app open you get that app's own.
Tip. Settings is also under your account button, in Charts > App Store and Charts > Analytics.
Step 2
Pick your charts.
Choose Charts lists every number your reports have. Tap one to show it, tap it again to hide it.
- Under All Apps, tap Choose Charts.
- Tap any chart to turn it on. Everything you turn on shows on My Apps and on every app's page.
- App Store adds split cards too: downloads by source, by device and by country.
Showing
Tap to hide. Everything showing appears on My Apps and every app's page.
Not showing
Step 3
Put them in order.
The chart at the top of Chart Order is the first thing you see every morning.
- Tap Chart Order.
- Drag a chart by its handle. The first one leads My Apps, and the rest follow under it as cards.
- Every app's page uses the same order.
Step 4
Choose how each chart opens.
Every chart remembers its range, its comparison and its style, so it opens the way you read it.
- Tap a chart's row under All Apps.
- Use Also show to draw related numbers over it, like first-time downloads over all downloads.
- Set Range, Compare With and Line or Bars. Analytics charts add Opens On (DAU, WAU or MAU) and Count Events From (App, Web or Both).
Tip. Any chart can still change in place. Settings decides how it opens.
Step 5
Follow your own events.
Your analytics knows what people do inside your app. Pick any event and see it every day, beside your App Store numbers.
- Go to Settings > Analytics > Choose Charts > Custom events.
- Under your app, tap Add Event. The events your app really sends pop up, most used first.
- Pick one, then a measure: Count, Per person, or the Sum, Average, Median, Lowest or Highest of a number on it.
- Want only some of them? Turn on Only when a property matches, like plan is pro.
Tip. On My Apps an event shows once at least two of your apps send it. On an app's own page it always shows.
Step 6
Break an event down.
See where an event comes from: signups by source, purchases by plan, sessions by campaign. Top values first.
- Go to Choose Charts > Breakdowns and tap Add Breakdown.
- Pick the event, then one or more of the properties it carries, each shown with values it has sent. Select All splits it every way at once.
- Tap Add Breakdown. Each property gets its own card, ranking the top values over the last 30 days.
Step 7
Give one app its own view.
Every app follows All Apps until you say otherwise. One switch gives an app its own charts, order and counting.
- Tap the gear on the app's page, or tap the app under Each app.
- Turn on Custom Settings. The app starts from a copy of All Apps.
- Change anything below it. Turn it off any time to follow All Apps again.
This app uses the All Apps settings. Turn on to set its own.
Counting
Tap the switch
Step 8
Count downloads your way.
All downloads, first-time only or redownloads only, and total or unique impressions. Conversion follows what you pick.
- For every app: Settings > App Store > Counting.
- For one app: turn on its Custom Settings and set its own Counting.
Step 10
Ask your AI.
Every chart settings page ends with Need Help? Copy for AI gives your AI how it all works and your setup, with the real events and properties your apps send, so the answer is taps you can follow.
- Scroll to Need Help? at the bottom of any chart settings page.
- Tap Copy for AI.
- Paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or any AI chat and say what you want to see.

FAQ
Which charts show, their order, how each one opens, the events you follow, and any app's own view.
Pick from every App Store Connect number your reports have and every chart your analytics tool can draw. Put them in the order you read them: the first leads My Apps and the rest follow as cards.
Set each chart's range, comparison, style and the numbers drawn over it. Follow any event your app sends, break any event down by a property, and give any app its own charts, order and counting.
App Store charts draw App Store Connect's numbers: store (downloads, impressions, conversion, earnings), traffic, sales, subscriptions and usage, plus downloads split by source, device or country.
Analytics charts draw your PostHog, Amplitude or Mixpanel data: active users, retention, time spent, live users, most popular screens, peak activity hours, most triggered events, and your own custom events and breakdowns.
A custom event follows one event over time. Pick it, then measure it: how often it happens each day and by how many people, how often each person does it, or the sum, average, median, lowest or highest of a number on it.
A breakdown takes one event and splits it by a property on it, like signups by utm_source or purchases by plan. It ranks the top values over the last 30 days instead of drawing a line.
Settings > Analytics > Choose Charts, then Custom events or Breakdowns. Each lists what your apps follow, with Add Event or Add Breakdown under each app, which pops up the events that app really sends. The card shows as soon as you follow one.
Go to Settings > App Store or Settings > Analytics, then Chart Order, and drag the chart you want to the top. Every other chart you picked follows under it, in order.
My Apps adds an event up across your apps, so it shows there once at least two of them send it. On each app's own page it always shows.
It draws related numbers over a chart's main one, each stretched to fill the height, like first-time downloads and redownloads over all downloads, or WAU and MAU over DAU. Only numbers from the same family can share a chart.
Opens On is the number an analytics chart leads with: DAU, WAU or MAU for active users, day 1, 7 or 30 for retention.
Compare With draws the stretch before (or the same time last year) under the line, so a change reads at a glance. Count Events From picks app, web or both for analytics that track a website too.
Downloads over impressions, both counted the way Counting says. Set first-time downloads only and unique impressions, and conversion follows.
Yes. Open the app's settings and turn on Custom Settings. It gets its own counting, charts, order and chart settings, starting from a copy of All Apps. Turn it off and it follows All Apps again.
PostHog, Amplitude and Mixpanel. Connect one under Settings > Analytics > Providers and link each app to its project. Time spent and live users come from PostHog and Amplitude; median, lowest and highest measures from PostHog.
No. Open each app's analytics settings and tap Use Bundle ID under This app's events, and each app counts only its own events. PostHog's iOS and Android SDKs tag every event with it.
App Store Connect's sales reports, read with your vendor number. Add it in Settings and earnings, sales, refunds and every subscription number join the list, with a year of history at once.
It can tell you exactly what to tap. Every chart settings page ends with Need Help? Copy for AI copies how it all works and your setup, with the events and properties your apps send. Paste it into any AI chat and say what you want to see.
