The short version

What the choice actually turns on.

Only the rows where these two genuinely differ. Everything they answer the same way is left out, because it cannot decide anything.

  1. 01

Stores. Appfigures covers the App Store and Google Play; AppSprint is App Store only. If you ship on Android this decides it before price does.

  2. 02

Trying it. Appfigures: none. AppSprint: trial. A permanent free plan and a trial that expires are not the same offer.

  3. 03

Scripting and AI access. Appfigures: api. AppSprint: mcp.

  4. 04

Where it runs. Appfigures: web. AppSprint: mac app.

  5. 05

Price. AppSprint starts at €114 a year on Solo (1 app), Pro €234; Appfigures at $9.99 a month on Connect, keyword tools from $149.99.

  6. 06

Who each is built for. Appfigures sits in the mid-market tier and AppSprint in the indie tier, which usually matters more than any single feature.

In its favour

What Appfigures does well.

  • Your own numbers: it connects to App Store Connect and Google Play and reports your real downloads, revenue and subscription metrics.
  • A genuinely cheap entry point at $9.99 a month if analytics is what you want.
  • Long-running market intelligence with a large historical estimate set behind it.
  • Both stores in one account, with review management included on every plan.

In its favour

What AppSprint does well.

  • A metadata editor that writes straight to App Store Connect, so the change you decide on ships from the same window instead of being copied into a browser.
  • Your own money in the same app: RevenueCat and Superwall integrations, plus SDKs for iOS, Flutter and React Native.
  • Price localization across its 66 countries, which is genuinely tedious to do by hand.
  • Apple Ads return on ad spend reported against the campaigns it manages, not just keyword-level ad data.
  • The same Apple-only, runs-on-your-Mac shape as ASO Studio, including an MCP server, so neither of us is asking you to move your research onto a web dashboard.

Ours, for the record

There is a third option.

If neither shape of bill fits, ASO Studio is $59/yr a year flat for unlimited apps and keywords, App Store only, with a free App Rating check that needs no account.
