The short version
What the choice actually turns on.
Only the rows where these two genuinely differ. Everything they answer the same way is left out, because it cannot decide anything.
- 01
Stores. Applyra covers the App Store and Google Play; AppSprint is App Store only. If you ship on Android this decides it before price does.
- 02
Trying it. Applyra: free plan. AppSprint: trial. A permanent free plan and a trial that expires are not the same offer.
- 03
Where it runs. Applyra: web. AppSprint: mac app.
- 04
Price. Applyra starts free; AppSprint starts at €114 a year on Solo (1 app), Pro €234.
In its favour
What Applyra does well.
- A genuinely permanent free plan, not a trial that expires. One app and five keywords is enough to watch a single launch.
- Google Play alongside the App Store, which rules ASO Studio out entirely for an Android developer.
- An MCP server, so this is not a choice between agent access and no agent access.
- Nothing to install and nothing tied to one machine: it runs in a browser on any operating system.
In its favour
What AppSprint does well.
- A metadata editor that writes straight to App Store Connect, so the change you decide on ships from the same window instead of being copied into a browser.
- Your own money in the same app: RevenueCat and Superwall integrations, plus SDKs for iOS, Flutter and React Native.
- Price localization across its 66 countries, which is genuinely tedious to do by hand.
- Apple Ads return on ad spend reported against the campaigns it manages, not just keyword-level ad data.
- The same Apple-only, runs-on-your-Mac shape as ASO Studio, including an MCP server, so neither of us is asking you to move your research onto a web dashboard.
Ours, for the record
There is a third option.
If neither shape of bill fits, ASO Studio is $59/yr a year flat for unlimited apps and keywords, App Store only, with a free App Rating check that needs no account.
