The short version
What the choice actually turns on.
Only the rows where these two genuinely differ. Everything they answer the same way is left out, because it cannot decide anything.
- 01
Stores. AppTweak covers the App Store and Google Play; AppSprint is App Store only. If you ship on Android this decides it before price does.
- 02
Trying it. AppSprint: trial. AppTweak: none. A permanent free plan and a trial that expires are not the same offer.
- 03
Scripting and AI access. AppSprint: mcp. AppTweak: api.
- 04
Where it runs. AppSprint: mac app. AppTweak: web.
- 05
Price. AppSprint starts at €114 a year on Solo (1 app), Pro €234; AppTweak at $949 a year on Essential, up to $549 a month.
- 06
Who each is built for. AppSprint sits in the indie tier and AppTweak in the mid-market tier, which usually matters more than any single feature.
In its favour
What AppSprint does well.
- A metadata editor that writes straight to App Store Connect, so the change you decide on ships from the same window instead of being copied into a browser.
- Your own money in the same app: RevenueCat and Superwall integrations, plus SDKs for iOS, Flutter and React Native.
- Price localization across its 66 countries, which is genuinely tedious to do by hand.
- Apple Ads return on ad spend reported against the campaigns it manages, not just keyword-level ad data.
- The same Apple-only, runs-on-your-Mac shape as ASO Studio, including an MCP server, so neither of us is asking you to move your research onto a web dashboard.
In its favour
What AppTweak does well.
- Deep historical data, up to 24 months on Grow Plus and all-time on Enterprise, which no new tool can manufacture.
- Google Play alongside the App Store, in one account.
- Real team features: seats, shared reporting and automated Slack and email alerts.
- Ad intelligence and creative research that sit well outside what a keyword tool does.
- A mature, well-staffed product with support and onboarding behind it.
Ours, for the record
There is a third option.
If neither shape of bill fits, ASO Studio is $59/yr a year flat for unlimited apps and keywords, App Store only, with a free App Rating check that needs no account.
