The short version
What the choice actually turns on.
Only the rows where these two genuinely differ. Everything they answer the same way is left out, because it cannot decide anything.
- 01
Scripting and AI access. AppVector: none. FoxData: api.
- 02
Price. AppVector publishes $9 a month on Lite; FoxData publishes nothing and quotes on request.
- 03
Who each is built for. AppVector sits in the indie tier and FoxData in the mid-market tier, which usually matters more than any single feature.
In its favour
What AppVector does well.
- A low entry price and a trial that does not ask for a card, so trying it costs nothing and risks nothing.
- Google Play alongside the App Store.
- Browser delivery, so the operating system does not matter.
- Tiers that let a very small operation pay very little, if its keyword count stays small.
In its favour
What FoxData does well.
- Ad intelligence, which is a genuinely different product from keyword research and something ASO Studio does not attempt.
- A set of free ASO tools anyone can use, alongside the trial.
- Google Play as well as the App Store.
- An API product for teams that need to pull data into their own systems at volume.
Ours, for the record
There is a third option.
Both cover Google Play, which ASO Studio does not. If your app is iOS only, $59/yr a year covers unlimited apps and keywords on a native Mac app, and you can score your listing free first.
